As asset owners, we develop performance measures that can assist in identifying actions required to meet expected service level objectives. Technical level of service measures are required to justify operational decision and to support financial decisions, while strategic measures are required to assess asset performance in terms of services provided to our communities. In both cases, performance measures used by an asset owner must be meaningful, transparent, consistent and easily measurable. This presentation will use real life examples of how realistic measures can support good, practical decision making.en_US
