| Abstract: | The adoption of modern technology to gain efficiency with infield mobility is one of the ‘big wins’ in operational asset management. No more filing cabinets, pens and paper, and document scanning to name a few. Everything is accessed through a browser anywhere, anytime. This enables staff to become more analytical, rather than transactional, and assists in the transition to a continuous improvement approach to management of service levels and treatment options. An effective implementation needs to have a change management focus more-so than a technology focus to navigate users throughout the business transformation. This presentation shares council’s experiences and learnings during the implementation. |
