| Abstract: | In May 2019, GHD was engaged by Somerset Regional Council to assist in the decision making process for either refurbishment, replacement or full site development as per the Fulton Trotter Master Plan Review in April 2019 of the Lowood Pool. GHD completed the site investigation – geotechnical, core sampling and testing and visual assessment to assess the current conditions, determine remaining life of the asset and identify opportunities for asset life extension or asset replacement. An upgrade strategy with comparative cost based around refurbishment of the pool or partial site redevelopment were also included as the delivery for the project. |
