| Abstract: | STREAMS has been designed to evolve continuously to meet our customers current and emerging needs. The unique software architecture provides a complete, integrated ITS platform supporting a comprehensive range of services and infrastructure, making it possible to run traffic signalling, incident response, motorway management and other traffic services from a single system. Integrated incident and traffic management results in greater efficiency of the transport network as a whole. STREAMS enables a road network to be managed holistically rather than as a collection of separate components, and it is this unique capability that sets STREAMS apart from other ITS. |
