Abstract

Brisbane is currently experiencing an exciting period of transformation. With Brisbane's economy predicted to double over the next 20 years, demand for office, retail, residential and hotel space in the city centre will provide significant challenges in the development of strategic initiatives that support and guide future development, transport and public space investment. This paper will explore some of the current signature projects and the integrated planning initiatives implemented to ensure outcomes align to the long term strategic vision.
